Car Shaking, Brake Judder Or Vibration

Finding where the vibration comes from instead of guessing at tyres, brakes or suspension parts.
Llandow workshop, South Wales customers

Vibration can come from several systems

Vibration may be braking-related, drivetrain-related, engine-mount related, suspension-related or caused by hubs, bearings, CV joints, tyres or propshaft issues.

Tell us where you feel it: steering wheel, brake pedal, seat, body of the car, pulling away or only at speed. That detail helps avoid the wrong parts being fitted.

You do not need to know the workshop term. Tell us the symptoms and we will explain whether the car needs servicing, fault-finding or repair work.

What we look at

  • Brake vibration, steering wheel shake and pedal pulsation.
  • Drivetrain vibration, engine mounts, CV joints and propshaft symptoms.
  • Hub, bearing, suspension and brake disc checks.
  • Advice on whether the next step is brakes, suspension, drivetrain, tyres or further checks.
